Thirteen points behind Espen Isaksætre after the opening race at Nysum, Thomas Eek Murstad appeared to have let his chance slip away. Just two races later, however, the 2025 RallyX CrossCar champion had closed the gap to his fellow Norwegian to a single point ahead of the season finale at Estering. Murstad ultimately fell short of defending his title, but second place in the championship extended a remarkable run of five consecutive championship podium finishes in RallyX.
