Viktor Vranckx, who won the FIA RX2e title last season, has confirmed that he will defend his title in the ZEROID X1.

Of course, this is no surprise to anyone, as the 17-year-old Belgian driver started his preparation for the FIA RX2e by re-entering the RallyX Nordic championship, where he has already won no less than three victories in four races in the Supercar Pro Am category.

Although Viktor Vranckx will once again have everything to prove against the experienced Isak Sjokvist, Nils Andersson and Ole-Henry Steinsholt, the VMV driver does not seem to be worried about this prospect.

“Since we won the RX2e championship last year, we obviously cannot lower our expectations,” the 17-year-old asserted, “so we are definitely aiming to defend our title. Of course there will be more pressure, but it usually helps me to perform at my best and extract that little bit extra.

If the power of the ZEROID X1 has been increased from 250 to 270KW, this should not surprise Viktor Vranckx.

“I’m really looking forward to the upgrades to the cars, although I’m already quite used to them, as we are already driving with more power in RallyX Nordic.”
