After a failed attempt with Nitrocross in 2022, the Finnish circuit of Kymiring this week confirmed its intention to host the World RX and Euro RX series from the 2025 season.
After Lousada earlier this week, World RX is set to move to a new venue in 2025 with a three-year deal, 'plus two' as an option.
Bought by businessman Kornél Öry after the Finnish circuit went bankrupt a few months ago, the latter made the news official at the Hungarian embassy in Helsinki, alongside Niclas Grönholm.
"For me it's a great thing," says Niclas Grönholm.
"I will finally be able to race at home and this will undoubtedly help us to raise the profile of the FIA World Championship in Finland".
