While Andreas Bakkerud was not the outright fastest driver on pure pace during Saturday's action, the Bergen Motorsport Evolution driver proved to be the most effective across the opening three qualifying heats. Thanks to a victory in Q1, followed by two solid performances in Q2 and Q3, the Norwegian ended the day at the top of the provisional standings with 130 points, three clear of Johan Kristoffersson.
