The opening round of the Latvian-Lithuanian Rallycross Championship took place on April 26 at the Bikernieki Circuit in Riga, attracting more than 80 entries. This time, quality took precedence over quantity, with several regulars from the upcoming FIA European Rallycross Championship, including Nicolas Geleyns and Markus Røsrud, opting to tackle the Latvian track in race conditions.
